Are your plans month-to-month?
Yes. Membership plans at Ivy Street are month to month. We simply ask that you give us a 30-day notice at the end of your time with us. We also ask that you sign our code of conduct.
-
Do you offer a day pass?
Not currently. To ensure the safety of our community, the space is currently limited to members only. We hope to offer day passes in the future, once we can safely allow more people in the space.
-
Do you offer private offices for rent?
No. Ivy Street is your place to safely get out of isolation and build a safe community in a shared work space! However, we do have a conference room and phone booths for private calls and zoom meetings.
-
Do you offer any other plans?
Not right now. To ensure the safety of our community during the pandemic, we’re limiting the total number of coworkers in the space by offering two plans (our full-time and part-time plans). Once it’s safe to allow more people into the space, we’ll resume offering more flexible plan options!
-
Do you provide mailbox services?
Generally, we don’t offer mailbox services, but let us know if you have a special need and we may be able to work something out.
-
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a refundable safety deposit equal to one month’s membership fee at the start of your membership in order to grant you 24/7 access to the space. The deposit may be used as your last month’s membership payment or refunded when you leave. (However, we also reserve the right to deduct from the deposit should you damage anything in the space.)
-
Can I access the space after-hours or on the weekend?
Yes! As an Ivy Street member you will have access to the space 24/7!
-
What is the policy for using the conference room?
The conference room is free to use for all Ivy Street members for virtual meetings. During the pandemic, we will not be allowing guests to physically meet in the space. Members can reserve time slots based on availability on our shared Google calendar. If the conference room is not booked, members may use it at your convenience until the next booking.
-
What is the policy for using the phone booths?
Phone booths are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask that you use the phone booths only for the duration of a call or meeting. We ask that everyone keep their masks on while in the phone booth to prevent potential community virus spread.
-
Is there an outdoor space where I can work?
Yes. Ivy Street has a lovely outdoor patio with a mix of work tables and comfy chairs. It is shaded most of the day and even has a place to plug in!
-
What is the noise level like in the open space?
We describe the noise level of Ivy Street as being somewhere between a library and a coffee shop. We want you to feel able to take a quiet phone call or respectfully chat with a fellow coworker but without the chaos and commotion of a coffee shop that can break our focus and productivity.
-
Can I leave my stuff overnight in the space?
Yes. Your dedicated desk is yours for as long as you are a member, so you can leave anything that fits on, around, and underneath your desk. Additionally, we provide small lockers, in which you may safely leave any additional belongings.
-
What types of community events do you host? How often?
Normally, we host a number of community events at Ivy Street including meetups, seminars, etc. But unfortunately, since we’re unable to safely host large gatherings right now, we’ve suspended all community events.

How does parking work?
Parking is a breeze at Ivy Street. For starters, it’s free! There are no metered spots in South Park, so you don’t have to pay anything. And, secondly, because South Park is less busy than other neighborhoods like North Park or Downtown, there’s always ample street parking within a block or two of the space.
